Children’s Corner began its journey in 1985 as a small nursery school with a vision to bring quality education to a socially and economically challenged area. Founded by Lt. Zahurul Hoque Halder with the support of dedicated community members, the school emphasized the importance of English education at a time when such opportunities were limited. Despite financial hardship, lack of infrastructure, and challenging social conditions, the institution steadily grew through perseverance and community trust. Over the years, Children’s Corner expanded from a pre-primary school to a Madhyamik (Class 10) level institution, producing many successful alumni who have gone on to become doctors, engineers, teachers, and professionals. Today, the school proudly serves a large number of minority and girl students, continues to provide free and concessional education to the underprivileged, and stands as a symbol of how education can bring positive change and hope to a community.
